New initiates
Anybody can become an Initiate, unless they have been expelled from The Conclave.

New members
- An Initiate is evaluated by the Directors after a one month trial period. After the trial period has ended they either become members of The Conclave, be deleted, or the trial period extended. Initiates will  become members of The Conclave if the Directors agree by a 2/3 majority.

- An initiate who previously has been a member of The Conclave can be promoted to a member of The Conclave if the Directors agree by a 2/3 majority.

Leave Of Absence (LOA)
- Any member can request a Leave Of Absence (LOA) by publicly posting on the board of his House.
- A first Leave Of Absence from the forum, IRC and TS can last for 2 months as a maximum.
- After 2 months the member will be contacted by email, to which he must reply within 2 weeks, to verify his status.
- Members who reply can extend their LOA for an additional 2 months once if they so choose.
- Members who do not respond to the contact email or who are still inactive at the end of the second 2 months term are brought up for deletion.
- Members who can define their precise LOA period beforehand can extend their LOA period beyond the standard 2 months.

Deleting members
- The time after which an inactive member can be deleted is 2 months, based on the date of the last activity on any of the communications media of The Conclave.

- Before any member is deleted an informative email must be sent to which the member must repond within 2 weeks after it was sent.

- Members who have failed to respond after the 2 weeks period, or indicate they don’t want to be a member anymore, are deleted by the Directors.

Deleting initiates
The Directors can decide to delete any Initiate at any given moment if they agree by a 2/3 majority.

Deleting visitor accounts
Newly made Visitor accounts can be deleted by the Directors if no reply/topic was made under the account within 5 days of its creation. Visitor accounts can be deleted by the Directors if an account hasn’t been used for the period of 1 month or more.

Reinstatement of former rank and avatar
A member can ask the Directors to be reinstated to the former rank and avatar, which the member obtained during his or her presence within The Conclave as a member. The  Directors needs to agree with this proposal with a 2/3 majority.
