| Code of Conduct |
As part of the Directors' commitment to make The Conclave a great place to meet and interact with others around the world you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct. Your commitment to these guidelines in all of your activities within The Conclave ensures a positive experience for all members.
Please treat all other online participants (members, visitors and guests) with respect and do not use any media services of The Conclave to threaten, harass, stalk, or abuse other users. Also, do not use any media of The Conclave to advocate or encourage expressions of violence, bigotry, racism, hatred, obscenity, or profanity.
All members must attempt to communicate in a way that allows all other members to properly understand them on all usable media.
You are encouraged to create your own interaction services such as chats, groups, roleplay scenarios, signaturepictures, etc. Be aware though that Moderators, Operators (OPs) and Server Admins can, at will and without notice, remove postings or ban participants that are deemed objectionable or that violate this Code of Conduct.
Do not use any of The Conclave's Media Services to spam others. Spam includes sending identical and irrelevant or unsolicited submissions to many different users as well as misrepresenting the source of anything you post. Spamming in chat rooms, games or the notice boards are serious violations of online etiquette.
Remember that the words you enter in a burst of passion or indignant anger will be there for you and everyone else to see, sometimes long after those intense feelings have passed. That's not meant to discourage spontaneity but just as a friendly reminder of the long-term existence and effects of what you post. You are responsible for any actions you may take at all times. Be aware of this and be aware that you may be called to account for your actions should they breach this Code of Conduct.
All members of The Conclave, when using a service supplied by The Conclave, must be represented by a name that easily identifies them with their name on The Conclave forums. It is preferred, but not obligatory, that members also prefix their name with "[CC]". The Conclave supplies rules and guidelines for all of its services either within those services or publically presented within other publications of The Conclave. Members of the CC will receive full privileges and services if they adhere to the ruleset.
Impersonating any other members of The Conclave is strictly forbidden.
Any breach of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions by The Council which will bring into play The Conclave Punishment Table. |
