Desert Foxes flourishing by Chief at Monday 16.01.2012
Thanks to extensive recruiting in Battlelog the Desert Foxes (DF) has now accumulated into a Platoon with over 50 people. The first Initiates have acquired Membership, thanks to excellent activity on the forum and Teamspeak, with quite a few more following soon.
Again, Id like to stress the fact that all Members and Initiates in DF can recruit new people. So if you have friends/family who like games (BF3 or otherwise) recruit them for The Conclave! Same thing goes for players you see online who show they understand teamplay.
Tell them about [CC] and get them to sign up on our website + post on the Recruitment board.

It took us only one lockout to entirely clear the new Dragon Soul raid on 25-man. This
achievement is something that our guild has never achieved before. We are now

The Conclave now has a 32-man BF3 server up and running, hosted by I3D (). It runs the full list of Conquest-maps and can be found under the following name and IP address:

Just search for Conclave in the games browser and it should pop up. Be sure to add it to your favourites!

Thanks to the help of HalfaMaster and Tomsboll, we managed to create a new look and feel for our website. This has been by far the most visible change we made to our forums, as compared to the initial upgrade TheRudy and Privateer made to the website back in 2004. We worked almost 3 weekends long to get to this point. Still, it is not finished, as you will undoubtedly find issues. Please post them in the appropriate topic on the Main Communications board.
Changes in this release:
--> New pictures for the top and side banners
--> New pictures for the forum (board/topic icons etc)
--> Menu has been moved to the left
--> Changed most menus to start using CSS instead of hardcoded values, making it easier in the future to change things.
Known issues:
--> Reduce embedded video size, as two videos side-by-side are > max-width (#134)
--> Icon for new announcements not working? (#133)
--> Table too wide when making a post (#132)
--> The website now shows wrongly up in IE due to a bug with the width. (#131)
--> Fix transparancy border of CalaDai small avatars (#130)
--> Update titles of the faq. The titles used in the faq should be of the type maintableheader. (#129)

Last night, we managed to down the second last heroic boss of tier 12 on heroic difficulty in the 25-man raid. Although Baleroc requires significant raid awareness, something we profoundly lack, in true Eradication stule we killed the boss in the last try.

The recent nerf sadly enough made this boss kill rather disappointing, but nevertheless it is dead anyway :D Killing a new boss within one day is not something that happens very often to us, so in a way it is an accomplishment.

IRC is back with a vengeance! by Chief at Thursday 22.09.2011
A few years back [CC] had quite an active IRC channel on quakenet.org but as teamspeak became more popular this sort of died off. However, recently an initiative was set up by Aimbot to get IRC back up and running within our community as it does supply a community wide social interactive tool.
How to connect?
This is easy, there are two methods:
1. Go to and fill in your nickname ([CC]Nickname) and the channel (#conclave.cc)
2. Use an IRC client (mIRC (Can be downloaded at , getting the Chatzilla addon for Mozilla Firefox, downloading Trillian () etc.) and fill in the channel (#conclave.cc) and server (irc.quakenet.org)

Eradication downs Majordomo 25-man HC! by BlueWarlord at Tuesday 20.09.2011
After a 400k wipe last Sunday (~0.5 seconds of dps on a 11 minute fight), we one shotted Majordomo today. Relieved that we manage to pull of this achievement for the incoming nerfs, this gives us a big morale progression boost. Congratulations people!
