[Celebration] 8 years of The Conclave by Chief at Wednesday 07.07.2010
Today we celebrate the joyous event of The Conclave turning 8 years old. 8 years have passed since [CC] was created on the 7th of July 2002 as an international multigaming community. For any comments you want to share with the community go here:
During that time we have seen people come and go. Its therefore great to see that some of the people who left us (or went inactive a while ago) have returned due to reallife consuming less of their time (RogerWilco, Pete87 etc).
Additionally its great to see that new initiatives by various people have picked up rather nicely such as the Desert Foxes Guild (Assandra, great fun playing together on public servers along with the rest fo the team etc), the work Sarge has done so far on Starcraft 2 beta tournaments (Looking forward to the next matches people, we plan to support SC2 in a Guild) and creative projects like Greyfox his Interactive Zombiestory (Keep Joe alive folks).
Gaming wise the future is looking equally bright with quite a large array of new games that seem very promising to support: Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, Starcraft 2, the new StarWars: The Old Republic MMO etc.
Onward towards our 9th year then. Game on!

Because of our new system with Project Overlords, people who actively promote the games they have an interest in, we proudly present to you the (click to go there).
Nugoth has been kind enough to volunteer running this board and informing you all with the latest intel on this upcoming game.
GW2 is an MMO, but comes without the usual monthly subscription fee as seen in games like World of Warcraft and EverQuest. The board already has a nice overview of various classes, races and abilities as well as some cool looking trailers.

The Conclave plays its first BC2 PCW by Chief at Monday 26.04.2010
The Conclave, through our BC2 group Desert Foxes, has played an enjoyable game against Battle Legion.
Though the game was lost by us, with about 40 points per side that we played on the map Arica Harbor, it was a highly enjoyable encounter. Various strategies, Squad setups etc. were tried and gave us valuable insights into the games mechanics.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 server online by Chief at Tuesday 23.03.2010
The Conclave has acquired a 32-slots server for the game Battlefield Bad Company 2 to support the BC2 players group within The Conclave. The server will help to further the groups goal to turn into a full fledged Guild and will greatly increase our recruiting potential.

The Conclave presents its latest project: Overlords. To quote Kaz: The Project Overlord is a person who has a vested interest in the game. He or she wishes to see the community to succeed at forming it, and is willing to go the extra mile to make it happen.
What the community gets out of the Project Overlord is a person who community can form around. For a community to form around you, you need to be there, playing the game. A lot. All the time.
