The Conclave Community Structure
Like any organisation The Conclave is built up from a number of segments which all fulfill their own function within the community as a whole. The various functions and their relationships towards each other are displayed in the diagram below.
|
The Conclave Community Appointments
In The Conclave, in order to have a fair distribution of responsibilities and tasks, communication between members is needed to elect or appoint members into certain functions. Who appoints or ratifies who is depicted in the diagram below.

The Fluffy Pink Bunny
The Fluffy Pink Bunny, or FPB as it is usually affectionately named, is the mascotte of The Conclave. It is the guardian angel of all members, overlooking their safety wherever they may go.

The Founders
The Founders are the three individuals who originally thought out the concepts and rules on which The Conclave was founded. The term Founder does not designate a position or function in the community but instead is an honourary title which can only be carried by the three creators of The Conclave: Chief, Seryl Cann and Varden.
|
The Directors
The Directors are the rulemakers and diplomats within The Conclave. They are in overall charge of the community and deal with the implementation of new rules, procedures and ideas to further expand upon the initial aim of The Conclave as an international multi gaming community. As such they primarily function as sources of information for members who need help with certain projects or as diplomats when certain problems arise and need to be sorted out.
|
The Senate
The Senate is the central gathering in The Conclave which consists of one representative for each House, a Senator, who represents the ideas and opinions of the members in his respective House.
Senate meetings take place once every week. In these sessions matters important for the whole community are discussed, voting takes place and final decisions are made. Plans and projects of sufficient magnitude must always be presented to the Senate and can only officially be implemented if the Senate agrees with a 2/3 majority vote.
|
The House Senators
Each of the Houses is lead by a Senator who is in charge of and responsible for all House based operations. Each Senator has the right to appoint a Vice Senator who will represent the Senator, and hence the House and its members, should the Senator be unable to attend a Senate meeting.
The Senators are part of the Senate in which each of them has one vote. Here they take part in the decision making process in order to keep all standard operations within The Conclave properly organized. Also, they are to bring in any feasible new ideas that they receive from the members who are a part of their House.
Whenever a House member has an idea, suggestion or plan the Senator of his respective House is the person who determines whether the idea is good enough to be presented to the Senate.

The Guild Ambassadors
The gaming component of The Conclave consists of the gaming Guilds that are each lead by one person, the Ambassador. Similar to a Senator of a House an Ambassador has the responsibility to oversee, guide and stimulate any and all activities within the group to which he has been assigned.
This includes welcoming new members and keeping Guild members up to date with news about the games + mods supported by the Guild. Ambassadors are to stimulate members within their Guild to play games and can organize a variety of events such as internal or external tournaments and competitions to achieve their goals.
|
The Council
The Council consists of the Councillors, who act as referees within The Conclave whenever an issue or complaint is filed by a member. Any member can report something which he considers a violation of The Conclave Code of Conduct. However, any such member should first attempt to fix the problem, either by himself or by contacting moderators. If a member feels he cannot solve the problem himself or if he regards the actions as undertaken by the moderators to be insufficient the Council can be consulted. When such a request is made the Council will study the respective case and present a verdict.
|
The Councillors and Vice Councillors
The Councillors act as the referees and judges within The Conclave. Any member within the community who feels that another member has violated The Code of Conduct, and thinks that the measures undertaken by admins or moderators were insufficient after having contacted these, can contact the council. The Councillors investigate the matter and, should a violation indeed have taken place, publicly display their verdict on the case.
The Vice Councillors are there to replace the Councillors when these are involved in a dispute themselves, have stepped down as Councillor or are simply temporarily unavailable.
